Álfheiður Ágústsdóttir has been appointed Deputy CEO of Travel Connect, taking over the role from Davíð Harðarson, who has stepped into the position of Chairman of the Board, leading the group's external growth with a continued focus on international expansion.
Álfheiður joins us from Elkem Ísland, where she has served as CEO since 2020, and previously as CFO at the same company. She also brings broad experience from committee and board work across Icelandic business life. In her new role, she will work closely with Finance and Procurement across the group and our brands, supporting the teams and leaders already driving these areas forward.
