Travel Connect Moves Under One Roof

In fall 2025, Travel Connect reached an important milestone when all its travel brands in Iceland moved into the same building at Suðurlandsbraut 34 in Reykjavík. After years of operating from three different office locations, our teams are now united under one roof.

All Travel Connect Brands in one building

The move brings together Travel Connect and its seven brands operating in Iceland: Iceland Travel, Nordic Visitor, Terra Nova, Iceland Tours, Iceland Unlimited, Nine Worlds, and Senlinmao. Having everyone based at Suðurlandsbraut makes daily collaboration easier and strengthens the connection between teams that work closely across brands. While Nordic Visitor continues to operate offices abroad in Scotland, Sweden, Germany, and Italy, its Icelandic operations are now fully integrated into the shared Travel Connect headquarters.

Modern facilities designed for our people

With the building fully renovated, the facilities at Suðurlandsbraut 34 are designed to support both productivity and well‑being.Special emphasis has been placed on excellent sound and air quality, creating a comfortable and healthy working environment.

On the ground floor, a welcoming café greets both guests and employees, setting the tone for the building. In addition, we have a bright and inviting canteen, where colleagues from all brands come together for lunch and informal connection. The meeting rooms throughout the building are designed for different needs, from focused meetings to creative workshops, supporting a variety of ways of working.

At the top of the building, a new lounge area is being created, a space where employees can mingle, relax, and enjoy social gatherings. These facilities play an important role in strengthening our company culture and ensuring that people enjoy coming together at work.

“There's something special about walking into the building each morning – you immediately feel the warmth and welcome. We're a diverse team, and you'll hear a mix of languages, see teams collaborating, catch birthday celebrations across brands. Having everyone just a few floors away feels different. It feels like a team working towards something bigger together."

A Historic Building with a New Purpose

The building at Suðurlandsbraut 34 has a long history.Formerly known as Orkuhúsið, it previously housed Orkuveitan and later medical services and operating rooms. While the external design of the building has been carefully preserved, the interior has been completely transformed.

Today, behind the historic façade, the building has been fully renovated into a modern, high‑quality office space that meets the needs of a growing international travel group.

Looking Ahead Together

Bringing all Travel Connect brands and offices in Iceland together under one roof is more than just a physical move. It is a significant milestone for the group. Working side by side allows us to collaborate more closely, share knowledge more effectively, and strengthen the professional foundation of our services.

"By bringing our teams together under one roof and investing in a strong working environment, we're better positioned to grow as a group and strengthen our competitiveness against comparable foreign companies. Suðurlandsbraut 34 isn't just our new headquarters – it's a shared home where we collaborate, innovate, and build our success together."
